What is Appify?

Appify is a web app for the Franklin Public School District. For teachers, it connects to your Google Classroom account, imports the rosters for the classes you teach, and turns them into simple tools you can use every day — random student groups, class timers, and a quick roster view — with no copying and pasting of student lists. For students, it's your school day at a glance: today's A/B day and bell schedule, your classes, clubs to join, and who's who around the building.

Why Appify asks for Google data

With your permission, Appify reads your Google Classroom course list and the rosters of classes you choose to import, so its tools can work with your real class lists. Access is read-only: Appify never posts to or changes anything in Google Classroom. Student sign-in only uses your basic Google profile — no Classroom access is requested.

Random groups

Scramble any class into fair random groups with a live shuffle, then spin to pick a group game-show style.

Saved, labeled countdown timers for warm-ups, transitions, and tests — with favorites and a loud finish.

Appify only reads your Google Classroom course list and rosters, stores them privately for your account, and never shares or sells data. Details in the Privacy Policy.
